About Lotus Seal Yoga

Namaste! I’m Sunitha, certified yoga instructor (RYT 200, RYPT). Apart from teaching for different studios, I was very keen on setting my own space for Yoga to spread awareness and importance of practicing Yoga and re-establishing connection with the self through the power of Yoga. That was how ‘LotusSeal’ was born on 13th Feb, 2018.

Online Yoga Classes

Take yoga classes anytime and anywhere so you can rejuvenate your body and mind. In LotusSeal Yoga classes teaching style combines strength, mobility, flexibility, breathing practices, and mindfulness techniques for a complete mind- body reset.

Classes are suitable for all levels and modifications are provided with and without props. Classes will be conducted on time by a professional certified instructor. So whether you are a beginner or expert, joining for a single session or as a consistent practitioner, you can be assured of a complete and holistic experience. So whether you are here to practice with my videos or considering joining my online yoga classes, I am confident that you will find it helpful for a happy and healthy lifestyle!

All online classes are conducted very professionally and online infrastructure is well equipped with a stable internet, high end web camera for best video quality, advanced microphones and speakers for best audibility and a bigger monitor or TV to view the clients clearly in each and every asana.

All you need is a stable internet for Tablet/laptop and a yoga mat to start the classes. It’s good to have a strap, pair of blocks and knee pad but it’s not mandatory to start with.

We need to be flexible to do yoga?

Yoga is for everyone irrespective of whether you are flexible/inflexible, mobile/immobile, strong/weak, healthy/unhealthy. You get flexible by doing Yoga regularly, you need not be flexible to start doing Yoga.

Body flexibility comes by practice, we need to be flexible in our mind to accept the practice.

Will yoga help in loosing weight?

Definitely YES. Yoga helps in body toning thus helping to normalise BMI value. And of course you need to have good diet.

 
What should I wear while doing yoga?

Women – choose any comfortable yoga leggings/ shorts and a T-shirt/ tank tops.

Men – Comfortable track pant/shorts and a T-shirt.

You can choose Yoga apparels from any of your personal brand.

At home you can even do Yoga with night pyjamas/ shorts or Kurtis or in any apparel you are comfortable with.

Which the best yoga style for beginners?

As a beginner go for Hatha or Yin practice as it will allow you to understand your body, gives time to rest and focuses on learning the details of asanas.

What you need to carry for yoga class?

All you need is your personal anti skid mat, hand towel and a bottle.

If you are a prop person have a pair of blocks and a strap. But many yoga studios will provide props.
